Peregrine offers a broad array of energy consulting expertise beyond municipal electricity aggregation to help public entities in Massachusetts understand and manage their energy use, move toward renewable energy sources, and create resiliency to climate change.
Community Microgrids
Peregrine works with cities and community stakeholders to develop urban neighborhood microgrids. These systems use battery storage, solar PV and other clean energy technologies to provide local resiliency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A key objective is to enable residents to stay in place during a grid outage from climate disruption.
Offshore Wind
Peregrine has served as the Independent Evaluator for three statewide, competitive solicitations for a total of over 3,000 MWs of offshore wind. Our job is to monitor and report on the solicitation and bid selection to ensure that the process is open, fair, and transparent and complies will all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Energy Data Tracking and Analysis
Peregrine offers broad expertise in energy data tracking and analysis. We developed an energy data reporting platform used by hundreds of cities and towns, and help municipalities and other large energy users to manage, analyze, and use energy data to reduce energy costs, improve building performance, and achieve sustainability goals.
